Beautiful, clean recently refurbed hotel, all staff super friendly. The location is good, you can walk either way along the beach on a promenade and reach restaurants or places for lunch. The rooms are large, beds massive and comfy, double sink, big toiletries supplied (shampoo, cond, body lotion, shower gel), separate bath with jets and shower pillow menu and balcony large too. All rooms either face inwards to the pools or to the beach so I cant imagine any of the rooms having a bad view. Food options are good, i'm veggie and lots of salad options to chose from and veggie hot food. We upgraded to All inclusive plus when we got there, it worked out as an addition £30 pp a day (we were booked for HB before this). This included all food, snacks, mini bar, all cocktails, all premium branded spirits, cava, some really nice wines (I'm a bit of a wine snob), you only need to pay extra for champagne or bottles of wine(Moet, Gavi etc). Would defo recommend doing this if you want to have lunch every day and drink as much as you like by the pool. We tried out the Italian, the pizza was delicious- thick fluffy crust (a bit like franco manco) Didnt try the other al la carte, it looked nice but i'm not a fan of paella Got a taxi to Siam Mall one day, €20, you can probably get a bus but we didnt check that. Lots of uk shops, zara, mango, h&m etc. Note far from costa adeje so prob about the same in cab price wise but we didnt go there. Easy to get a taxi back too Activities- there's a tennis court, beach volleyball, pilates studio, lake for kayaking etc. Also fitness activities in the pool like yoga on surfboards, water boxing, aqua aerobics. There aren't overly pushy to make you do any of it which was appreciated We didn't use the spa- it was well booked up so id recommend booking that in advance Entertainment in the evening- they have a theatre there with nightly shows or live music in the lobby bar which is more chill which we enjoyed

We chose Barcelo for our honeymoon and we definitely made the right decision. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet and we could try various activities offered for free (aqua gym, tennis, dancing classes, concerts - additionaly they would also organize small trips, workshops and activities for children). The hotel has a gym, sport courts, a souvenir shop, pool bars - 3 euro for a glass of wine, 6 euro for a cocktail for eg) and a la carte restaurants which you can book through their app. There are several pools to swim in and relax and sunbeds for everyone. Guests can also access a nearby beach. It is close to TFS airport and you could spot some airplanes nearby but nothing disturbing. The hotel was a good starting place for trips across the island and as we rented a car, we benefited from the parking lot available. We had half board included in the room rate (breakfast-water, coffee, tea, fresh juices included and dinner-no drinks included) and it was ok for us as we were usually travelling around for lunch time. You could upgrade to all inclusive anytime (lunch and drinks included). The buffet was varied and you could find something tasty for everyone (local specialties, chicken, beef, pork, fish, fruits and vegetables, sweets, but also vegetarian and no sugar options included). The staff (reception, restaurants, bars and housekeeping) was super helpful and we felt taken care of. We were spoiled with welcome and goodbye treats which were a bonus. :)

The hotel was big and spacious. The room was ok. The room's view was ok. Stayed for 3 nights and spent most of the time outside of the hotel. However, there were a few entertaining activities I could do like kayaking and the historic experience tunnel tour. The app was easy to use and bookings were made via it. Customer service before arrival was slow in responding at times but was good during the stay. The slow responses did affect my holiday planning. I started with half board and upgraded to all-inclusive for the last two days. I did this because the first two days had me out of the hotel from early morning (before breakfast on one day) till evening. The restaurant and snack bars were ok. I only tried the buffet restaurant since that's the only one on all-inclusive. The other restaurants required extra charges. I've honestly been to better 5-star resorts which had the a la carte restaurants included in the all-inclusive package and provided better rooms and services. Was it worth upgrading? Well, I had an evening flight back home and could have lunch and other stuff to eat and drink while I waited, so I guess it was worth it in the end.

The hotel is really beautifully designed and decorated throughout, and there are a variety of pools so we were able to (mostly) escape the wind by going to a different one. The food was great. Initially we thought we had to go to a specific bar for all inclusive but were pleased to discover you can get the incl. drinks at any bar. We loved sitting at the top bar in the evenings or the bottom one while the DJ played. Some staff were really friendly and helpful, in particular Emma at the restaurant. We liked the location in the sense that we could walk out of the hotel to the nature reserve and to a beautiful seaside boardwalk down to a nearby town with lovely restaurants.

The receptionists were kind and efficient, they helped us find our way around the accommodation they help us connected to WIFI . Despite the large number of guests, the dining rooms are large and spacious, the breakfasts have a large and delicious selection. The place is suitable for everyone, and the area of the place is large. The place is accessible, there are ramps to bypass the many stairs. The hotel is close to the airport, The room was located in a good place despite the proximity to the route of the airplane runway, the noise of the airplanes did not disturb.
